“Beau artfully challenged the perceptions of a large group of very knowledgeable and accomplished leaders. He is eloquent, humorous, and incredibly gifted at reframing people’s assumptions about what is true and what is possible, through a neuroscientific lens. Beau is the best speaker I’ve seen for helping leaders adopt the right mindset for transformation work.”

- SVP Global Talent Strategy & Development at Warner Music Group

“Beau Lotto's keynote presentation at the 2022 CANARIE Summit had the same effect as filling the room with super-oxygenated air -- it energized and engaged every single person in that room and created the perfect context for our guests to learn and unlearn in meaningful ways. Beau's combination of scientific expertise, understanding of the power of cultural touchstones, thought-provoking (in the truest sense) messages, tremendous energy, and personal warmth combined to create a keynote presentation that seeded ongoing conversations for days afterwards. If your intention is to have your audience think about how they think in order to think better, I could not imagine anyone better suited to the task than Beau.”

– Kathryn Anthonisen, Vice President, External Relations, CANARIE

“The Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) recently hosted CIMBC22, our first in-person annual convention and trade show in more that two years. This event, which hosts +6,000 attendees, is our marquee event for the Institute and major source of revenue, education and engagement. Recognizing that the world has changed dramatically since the onset of the global pandemic – and that we as an Institute and industry has as well – we sought to approach our event differently. Through our Conference Chair we were introduced to Beau Lotto as a potential keynote. It is not an exaggeration to say that Beau’s participation as our opening keynote speaker, panelist and engaged contributor was transformative for our event, the participants and our Institute.

With Beau’s advise and assistance we sought to create a three day “journey” for participants, building upon the thought-provoking ideas, concepts and queries introduced in his opening keynote. This objective was a resounding success. Not only were folks referencing Beau throughout the conference, but they’re still doing so even weeks following the event.

I would highly recommend Beau as a keynote and collaborator. His compassion, curiosity and captivating ideas – presented in such a compelling and digestible manner – not only have a broad appeal but can also serve as a real catalyst for positive change in both our corporate and personal lives

“What a knockout! The feedback from all the members was fantastic..!”

– Tech UK

“I simply adore these talks. Beau Lotto is one of those who studies a specific subject, such as our adaptation to illusions, primarily optical, that can be applied for any subject of human studies.”

– TED

“Beau was great to work with – very creative, highly ambitious and with incredible energy. His communications skills are quite something to behold: when dealing with the volunteers from the public for the experiment, he held them in the palm of his hand and infected them with his enthusiasm. Respected by his peers and looked up to by his students he is someone who people like to listen to and learn from. I’d love the chance to work with him again.”

– BBC

“The truth to describe his time here as like having a Renaissance man in our midst – Beau blends art, science, curiosity, illusion and music to entertain children, adults and scientists alike.”

–  London Science Museum

Dr Lotto’s presentation was interactive, educational and entertaining. Dr Lotto was a pleasure to work with. He was responsive to correspondence and a real character on site. I would happily recommend Dr Lotto to anyone interested in having him speak in a public capacity.”

Thank you kindly for blowing the socks off our participants, and frankly, my colleagues and the head of Metro Vancouver (both CEO and politicians). Well done!

You were ‘outside’ the box of the kind of keynotes we typically have for our Zero Waste Conference – and
I felt you were going to offer just the right antidote to the crazy fear and uncertainty everyone has been feeling over the past few months. You were an answer to our uncertainty – and literally.
Some of my colleagues and our regional government leadership were uncertain whether we should have someone that was not deeply rooted in the CE/Waste prevention issue. Wow, talk about everyone coming full circle into ‘certainty.’ People loved your presentation. Wish you could see some of the chat.

– Senior Policy Advisor, Metro Vancouver and the National Zero Waste Council

Bear Grylls told us when you can discover the real character of the person, Simon Sinek explained why infinite mind is so important especially during hard times, John Sanei from Singularity University described why Maslow pyramid was reversed now. This is only part of very inspiring sessions during Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo® this year. Nevertheless the most touching me was BEAU Lotto who was showing us how the brain is working and how perception might be changed in practice. How do you think, what is the biggest fear of our brain?

– Attendee, Gartner IT Symposium/XPO

Dr. Beau Lotto provided a captivating presentation filled with insight to help our attendees embrace uncertainty, think differently and tap into their innovative spirit. He has an amazing ability to lift you to a higher place so you can understand and see your purpose in an ever-changing and challenging world.

– Diane Tomb, CEO, American Land Title Association

Beau is a perfect, positive start to the day.

I have chaired conferences for over 20 years and this is undoubtedly one of the best keynotes I have ever seen. Beau began the second day of our conference – when people may be low on energy – and within moments over 800 people were engaged. By the end of the talk they were also informed, challenged and inspired. Beau provided the hope that change is possible, along with a road map to making it happen. Our delegates left the plenary session feeling positive and primed for the rest of the day. Very few experts can also speak, entertain and inspire. Beau does.

– Donald Taylor, Founder, Learning Technologies Conference, London

Beau was excellent! It was a great closing plenary and we have already received anecdotal feedback saying how much people were interested in him. Beau is such an engaging speaker that he had me hooked. His session was a great mix of speaking, slides, activities and laughter!  He hit on all the right spots touching on purpose, teaming, uncertainty and inclusiveness.

Beau Lotto is brilliant. He did an astonishing presentation at Conarec 2021, the World's largest CX event, at November 10th, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. His approach about mind-set, perceptions and beliefs, and how we should understand the biases of our mind have been so hard to manage, that we need to change our stories and narratives to engage customers. It was incredibly valuable for CX leaders and CEOs of hundreds of companies that attend Conarec.

He shared a quote that defined why we need to restore our socialization after pandemic: "The brain is social. And this was absolutely important to the evolution of human race".

Thanks, Beau. Brazilian executives really appreciate your insights.

– Mr Jacques Meir – Executive Director of Knowledge, Conarec Group

CIMBC22 was a huge success and broke every record so far.

We opened the conference with Beau keynote address to set the stage for how to thrive in a world that is increasingly unpredictable. Beau engaged the audience in ways of thinking differently about their challenges.

Beau generated an enormous amount of momentum for the drive to transform our industry. We capitalized on that momentum and kept going to the end of the conference and we will keep working together for the next few years to maintain the momentum.

He challenged our leaders that change starts at the top by creating a culture:

  • To adapt to change,

  • How to successfully innovate

  • Build effective teams.

I would definitely recommend Beau to anyone who is looking to get into the right mindset for transformation. He is not just a phenomenal speaker on stage but he can motivate the leaders in a more intimate setting but most importantly Beau is a good person.
